1. GamerBee (Ado U2) 2-7 Fuudo (Fei U1)
- Pre-match interview: GB: I've never played Fuudo but I won Mago so I have to win it (to save Mago's face) (laugh).
- Fuudo chose Training Mode stage. GamerBee chose 1P side.
  1. 0-2

  4. 0-2 *close 1st round

  9. 0-2 *Fuudo had a comeback in 1st round *they exchanged Ultra in the close last round
- GamerBee had no answer to the Rekka, he didn't FADC and didn't know how to get in. (Funny thing is this's what will happen if the Ryu wasn't Umehara yesterday) He also only did and landed Ultra in the last round.

2. Poongko (Set U1) 2-7 Xian (Gen U1)
- We just noticed that Poongko's translator is actually(?) hydeBuffy (a South Korean player).

- This's not Umehara's best form but he did very well because he clearly had some plans in his head. Xiao Hai couldn't do much except Arrow punish on fireball and a number of EX Strike.

  13. [deuce] 0-2 *almost Arigataya finish in last round
  14. [deuce] 1-2
- Thriller and heartbreaker. Umehara did well but somehow stopped his fireball game after 5th win, then Fuudo gained the momentum and won a lot of close rounds.
- Umehara took high risk spending any meter he had to ex fireball to break Fuudo's worldclass FADCs.
- Umehara ended Fuudo's 9 matches winstreak in TOPANGA League.

    7. Sako (E. Ryu U2) 7-4 Xiao Hai (Cam U1)
    - Xiao Hai said the previous match (Ume vs. Fuudo) gave him inspiration and he's happy to be able to play against these top Japanese players.
    - Xiao Hai chose 2P side. Sako chose Morning Mist Bay.
    1. 2-1
    2. 2-1 *perfect in 1st round by Sako *Sako failed to close 2nd round
    3. 2-1 *Sako lost a big lead in 1st round
    4. 2-1 *very close 2nd round

    7. 1-2
    8. 0-2
    9. 1-2 *nice surprise Raging Demon in 2nd round *entertaining last round
    10. 1-2 *nice crLK>Arrow in last round (intense)
    11. 2-1 *very close 1st round
    - It looked like Xiao Hai wasn't familiar with Evil Ryu so he spent all his time in the first half looking to what Sako can do.

      Table
      Player P W L GD
      1 Sako 5 5 0 +18
      2 Fuudo 5 4 1 +18
      3 Umehara5 4 1 +7
      4 Xian 5 2 3 +3
      5 Xiao Hai 5 2 3 -2
      6 Bon-chan 5 2 3 -9
      7 GamerBee 6 2 4 -14
      8 Poongko 6 0 6 -21

There're 4 conditions for Umehara to win this tournament without looking at GD.
      1. Umehara must win Sako.
      2. Umehara must win Xian.
      3. Sako must lose to Fuudo.
      4. Fuudo must lose to Xiao Hai.
